Gill's Veterinary Clinic was established in 1982 by Dr. Gurdev Singh Gill, as a small animal Veterinary Clinic at College Avenue (Pulau Tikus, Penang). Since its inception the clinic has provided a full range of Veterinary services for residents of the state of Penang.

Over the years the clinic has grown from a single-manned veterinary clinic to a veterinary establishment incorporating two Veterinary clinics, run by four veterinarians.

In 1987, Dr. Gurdev Singh Gill moved his practice to Bagan Jermal Road. The clinic has expanded from a single consult and a surgical facility to a veterinary centre, incorporating two consult rooms, a surgical theater, a diagnostic imaging facility and a pet accessories centre in 1995.

In 1995, Dr. Kuljit Singh Gill, Dr. Gurdev's elder son, joined the practice followed by Dr. Gurdev's younger son, Dr. Amreet Singh Gill in 2002.

Currently, four Veterinarians run the clinic, on a rotation basis.
